After 11 years building a successful career as a Personal/Executive Assistant at Director Level and Office Manager,

I set up WorkAwayPA Virtual Assistant Services to help busy individuals find support for their online business administration and online personal assistance needs.

Career

I studied Business Administration, Event Management and a Legal Secretary course at West Kent College, after finishing school at Weald of Kent Grammar School. I then went on to get a part time administration job at a local company where I continued to progress to become a full time Office Manager, then progressed further into the role of Personal/Executive Assistant to the Managing Director.  

During my role as Office Manager and PA, I carried out a variety of tasks from managing large office moves, to organising events for 400 guests, and managing the performance of departments within the business. I have worn many hats, which has taught me to work well under pressure, stay organised and hit those important deadlines. 

  

I have always enjoyed helping other people to stay organised, creating structure to their workload, and helping them to achieve success. By taking on the tasks that busy individuals do not have the time for, it allows them to succeed and drive their business forward. 

 

A little about me

I live in Kent and I work from my office in my garden.

I love spending time with family and friends, holidays and good food. 

I love meeting new people and learning new things.   

   

I am always the organiser, making sure we have plans for special events and I am always called on by friends and family to help with their special events, such as birthdays, baby showers and hen do's.   
Event planning is my real passion. From budgets to every aspect of planning, I love everything involved as well as seeing the reactions of the guests on the day.    

   

I love to develop new skills to offer clients more services, so I am always working on personal development.
